Biography:
Mr. Moorhead’s practice is focused in construction litigation, representing clients working in all aspects of the construction industry, including engineers, architects, developers, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. He regularly handles matters related to bonds, liens, commercial collections, scheduling and delays, design and construction defects, and contract drafting and negotiation. Mr. Moorhead also offers general counsel services for businesses in the construction industry.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Moorhead worked as a project engineer in civil engineering, focusing in roadway drainage design, and general site development. Mr. Moorhead remains active in the engineering community, having served as a member of the Florida Engineering Society’s Board of Directors for the 2016-2017 term, and a multi-year judge of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida’s Engineering Excellence Award.
